SCRIPTURES TO PRAY WHEN YOU HAVE FEAR or ANXIETY

OverProject 53.jpeg

FEAR starts with a dose of bad news or a feeling that peaks your emotions, it spirals into ANXIETY. When anxiety is not dealt with, it can quickly spiral deeper and turn into DESPAIR which (when unfulfilled) leads to DEPRESSION. We believe the Scripture gives us victory over every fear. We believe that the victory on the cross is Jesus’ way of crushing the fear of death! That is the good news, the Gospel. So let’s pray the Scripture over our fear.

-We should declare these 5 things over our spirit, over our homes, and over our world.

  1. God is in Control: Colossians 1:16-17 - for through him God created everything in the heavenly realms and on earth. He made the things we can see and the things we can’t see—such as thrones, kingdoms, rulers, and authorities in the unseen world. Everything was created through him and for him. He existed before anything else, and he holds all creation together.

2. We will see PEACE: 1 Corinthians 14:33 - For God is not the author of confusion but of peace, as in all the churches of the saints.

3. We will have no FEAR: Psalm 27:1 - The Lord is my light and my salvation; Whom shall I fear The Lord is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid.

4. God has a WILL for us to accomplish - ACTS 13:36 (NLT) - …for after David had done the will of God in his own generation, he died and was buried with his ancestors…

5. God can reveal PURPOSE in the PANDEMIC - ECCLESIASTES 3:1 (NLT) - There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under the heavens:
